Women in Law Finalist
Siobhan Mullins, Director of Separate Together, has been named as a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly Sole Practitioner of the Year category at the 2018 Women in Law Awards, one of the legal industry’s premier events.
An increasing number of separating Australians are reaching an agreement together about their financial split and parenting matters. They’re embracing the availability of online information to prepare their own legal agreement paperwork to bypassing lawyers, lawyer invoked conflict and expensive legal fees.
Recognising that there was no quality legal service meeting this untapped demand, Ms Mullins founded Separate Together, launching the firm in May 2017. The firm has quickly become Australia’s leading online family law firm, specialising in working with people going through separation to prepare the paperwork to make their separation agreements official, minimising or eliminating lawyer involvement.
Based in Canberra, Ms Mullins works with separating Australians from across the country and overseas.
“I’ve had such support from colleagues, past clients and existing clients about what I’ve set out to achieve—which is to make the legal separation experience a simple one for people are want to have an amicable separation”, Ms Mullins stated.
This award category recognises female sole practitioners who’ve demonstrated outstanding performance, strength and excellence in their field, and their capabilities across marketing, sales, business systems and processes, plus client retention strategies.
