Canberra based online business, Separate Together, has been named as a finalist for the Innovation Business Award in this year’s Canberra Women in Business Awards.
The firm specialises in working with separating Australians to prepare the paperwork to make their separation agreements official, minimising or eliminating lawyer involvement. Some clients refer to them as the ‘amicable divorce lawyers’.
The Innovation Award, sponsored by Rubik3, is for the business owner that best demonstrates excellence in the areas of science, technology and innovation and is a role model for women and girls wanting to pursue careers or businesses in these fields.
“I’m honoured that my firm, Separate Together, has been listed as a finalist in this year’s Canberra Women in Business Awards”, states Ms Mullins.
“I’m a lawyer who doesn’t go to Court. I integrate technology, I offer affordable fixed pricing and I work only with separating couples who are committed to reaching an agreement together.
These different ‘things’ that I do buck the traditional divorce law firm model and it’s been working. My clients tell me that we’ve made their separation experience ‘simple’, ‘easy’ and ‘less stressful’’.
