Founder named as an Under 30 years Lawyers Weekly Awards Finalist

Founder of Separate Together, Siobhan Mullins, has been name as a finalist in the Lawyer’s Weekly list of 30 Under 30 Award for Family Law 2019.

Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 is Australia’s largest independent awards program that recognises excellence in young lawyers — those who are raising the bar on what it means to be a leader for the next generation.

“One of my firm’s three core values is to lead. I aim to lead separating couples through the process to make their separation official, but I also aim to lead on the diversification of traditional family law legal services”, Mullins states. “I’ve chosen to integrate technology, offer limited scope retainers, fixed pricing and introduced what I call ethical billing”.

“Each year, the number of entries for 30 Under 30 grows, meaning it’s no easy feat in securing a finalist position. By doing so, you have demonstrated professional excellence and positioned yourself among the go-to lawyers in your practice area,” Lawyers Weekly editor Emma Ryan said.

Mullins stated that being recognised as a finalist in this award category is success enough for her, “being recognition that what [she has] set out to do is being recognised by the industry”.

The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on 10 May Sydney.
